The Week's Economic Indicator Calendar

The bond market should remain in “holiday mode” this week with a reduced economic calendar and the market closed on Monday December 26th. Given the quiet, lower volume holiday trading, it is not likely that there will be any dramatic change in home loan rates this week.

Remember, as a general rule, weaker than expected economic data is good for rates, while positive data causes rates to rise.
