is anyone else here a member of www.loantoolbox.com

I've been interested in posting about them on someone elses board to get comments about them. I like that Tim Braheem genuinely wants to help people. what does everyone else think?

I'm not a member even though they have my personal hero Greg Frost. They probably have a decent amount to offer but I think it's a lot of stuff that you can pick up from reading about marketing and following a halfway decent business plan.

I was a member of loantoolbox.com from spring 2004 to spring 2005.

While it was expensive to join (around $1500), I know that I made more than that using their systems in the first 3 months.

I didn't renew because I found myself spending too much time altering documents to fit the Canadian lending system.

I compare this site to a treadmill. Will the treadmill help you lose weight?

Of course it will, you just have to use it. If it sits in the corner and collects dust, it won't help at all.

Same thing with LTB. If you impliment their systems, you will make money from them.

You have a very good point. I'll consider adding it to my marketing for next year. I've been on the fence about it for a while now.

For anyone that has used LTB... I have a question for those of us just starting. Does it require the $1500 up front or do they have an option for monthly payments?

Also, are there any other good online resources? I already have the basics down of putting a loan together... I worked in an inside sales position and had the advantage of incoming leads. But with the implosion of the subprime market, our shop was closed down and I'm now looking to build a business with deeper roots.

as far as loantoolbox, yes they do offer a monthly option. They'll also give you a membership for something like a grand if you call and beg. I'm pretty sure the monthly option runs $129 a month.

As far as other companies...uh....we're all kinda just waiting to see what happens. I don't know if anyone is truly safe at the moment.
