Default Any info on Amerisave Mortgage?

I´ve been looking at Amerisave closely and feeling like I might join them. I´ve been in the industry for about 2 years now and with the same firm doing well for about a year and a half. Although my firm gives me "live transfers" daily which is great, they also require me to come in the office pretty much full time each week so working at home is out of the question.

Amerisave´s platform that includes FHA and being able to do loans in 48 states, buying leads from lowermybills / lending tree at a discounted price that is alluring. Also, their technology of being able to buy the leads that get dumped into your CRM that is also linked with Encompass and their supposed good processing gives me the impression that being an LO with them COULD be a good experience.

However, I´d like to talk with someone who has been actually doing some decent loan volume with them for 6 months or more to verify other´s experience. So far I´ve only been talking with recruiters who haven´t really been with them that long and haven´t yet done a lot of loans with the company.

Yes, I know that because they allow for recruiting and overrides that it has "an MLM component" that makes a lot of serious LOs want to run for the hills, but on the other hand I´m told that they only allow LOs with track records to join and that they are a major cut above Global Equity Lending or World Leadership Group in a number of ways. It appears that Amerisave is ACTUALLY COMPETITIVE WITH RATES (not padding) AND WRITING A LOT OF LOANS! They claim to have done 5.5 billion in volume at this point and seem potentially very solid. I just would like to verify with some LOs what they´re actually experience with their system is.

Is there anybody out there who can give me any feedback or info good or bad? Although I'm into getting anyone's impressions but am mostly hoping to connect with some folks who ACTUALLY have been working with Amerisave as an LO writing loans so I can get more real feedback.

Thanks for the help!

Phil

I am a loan officer with Amerisave and I have had a great experience with my loans. The internal process works very well once you get your state licensing requirement met. The CRM is unbelievably cool, and really integrates the leads with the rate tool and encompass in a way that makes production very easy. The technology and rates are what really sold me on Amerisave. And yes, we actually do loans. The outside sale team submitted 100 loans last week, and is starting to outpace the inside call center team. We really do close over 1,000,000,000 per year, and are nothing like the other MLM type companies. For one thing, it is not a true MLM-you only get paid for 2 generations of recruiting. Secondly, you get no money for recruiting, only the production of the recruits underneath you. And our rates are awesome! We are tough to beat for loans over $200k.

You will not find anyone who has had 6 months experience as an outside rep, because the outside sales programs is only 3 or 4 months old. I had the exact same concern as you did before I joined the company. I wanted to talk to someone who was out there in the field, really doing the time, and being succesful. I talked to three LO's, and eventually spent an hour on the phone with one of the VP's in my decision making process. I would welcome the chance to speak with you about my experience if that would be beneficial for you. I'll private message you my number...
