Is it impossible for me to get a loan

I have good steady income,a good job ..same job for 25 years +. My wife and I make a little over $80,000 combined I have lots of equity in my home and got stupid about 4 years ago and screwed my credit up royally. I need help in getting an equity loan of some type or any type of loan to clear up some credit card debt and get my life back on track.
